Kristen CalzadillaBiographyKristen M. Calzadilla is an associate in the Miami office of Wicker Smith, focusing primarily on Appellate and Professional Liability matters. Kristen graduated from the University of Miami in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She then went on to earn her Juris Doctor from University of Miami School of Law where she was a CALI Award winner in Children & Youth LawClinic II; Burton Young Scholarship Recipient and HOPE Public Interest Center’s Community Service Challenge Outstanding 3L Award Recipient. While in law school, she also served as Secretary of the Immigration Student Law Association; teaching assistant of an Emotion and the Law course; Group Leader for Orientation Workshops and Service Projects; and an active member of Hispanic Law Students Association. Prior to joining Wicker Smith in 2024, Kristen practiced as a litigation attorney at another South Florida law firm where she handled breach of contract disputes and managed first party property and financial services cases.
