Katharine Schaefer

Katharine (Katie) Schaefer is an associate attorney in the West Palm Beach office of Wicker Smith where she focuses her practice in the area of medical law.

Katie graduated cum laude from the Ohio State University with a double major in International Relations & Diplomacy and Political Science, along with a minor in Business. She then went on to earn her Juris Doctorate degree from the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 2024. While in law school, Katie was an active member of the Ohio State Journal of Criminal Law, Women’s Legal Society and participated in Moot Court. Prior to joining Wicker Smith as an attorney in 2024, Katie served as a dedicated Summer Associate with the firm assisting senior attorneys in the medical law and general liability departments.

During her free time, Katie enjoys boating, trying new recipes, and watching OSU football. She is admitted to practice in the State of Florida.
