Joseph Cruz

Joseph Cruz is an associate in Wicker Smith’s Fort Lauderdale office where he works in a variety of practice areas, but primarily General Liability.

Joseph attended Florida Atlantic University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, graduating in 2019. He continued his education at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law, earning his Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 2024. During law school, he was granted the CALI Excellence Award in Property, Constitutional Law II and Florida Constitutional Law and a five-time Dean’s List recipient. Joseph served as a dedicated law clerk at a Fort Lauderdale civil trial defense firm prior to joining Wicker Smith as a law clerk in 2023 and an associate in 2024.

Outside of practicing law, Joseph enjoys playing and watching golf and ice hockey. He is admitted to practice in the state of Florida.
