Robert Bauroth

Robert C. Bauroth, a partner in the Fort Lauderdale office, has been with Wicker Smith since the start of his legal career.

Over the past 39 years, he has concentrated his civil trial practice in the areas of personal injury and wrongful death involving various types of cases including accidents relating to road construction,building construction site related accidents, automobile accidents, premises liability, insurance coverage, bad faith, and professional liability.

In addition to working on general aviation accidents and litigation, Mr. Bauroth has been involved in a number of major aviation accidents and air disasters, including the 1996 Valujet crash in the Florida Everglades, the 1997 Comair crash, the 2001 entertainer Aaliyah crash in the Bahamas, the 2005 Chalks seaplane crash that occurred in Miami harbor, and most recently the midair collision of two aircraft over the Everglades.

Mr. Bauroth graduated from Duke University in 1973 with a Bachelor of Arts. He earned his Juris Doctor in 1979 and was admitted to practice in the state of Florida that same year.
