Stephen KeavenyBiographyStephen T. Keaveny is an associate in the Miami office of Wicker Smith, focusing primarily on the defense of General Liability, Professional Liability, and Transportation matters. Prior to joining Wicker Smith in 2024, Stephen served as a litigation attorney at another prestigious South Florida firm where he handled insurance claims and civil litigation matters. Stephen graduated from Florida International University College of Law in 2023. While attending law school, he was an active member of the Caribbean Students Association (1L Rep) and Business Law Society. He also graduated with Advanced Standing, which allows students to receive up to 30 hours of credit towards their JD for prior legal studies in another country. Before being sworn-in as a licensed attorney in the state of Florida in September 2023, Stephen was a practicing attorney in Kingston, Jamaica. Having earned his Juris Doctor from Norman Manley Law School in 2017, he represented clients in both the Magistrate and Supreme Court for civil, commercial and property law claims.
