William FinkBiographyWilliam F. Fink began his career with Wicker Smith in 1987 as a law clerk in the Miami office. Today, he is a Shareholder in Fort Lauderdale, focusing the majority of his practice on medical malpractice, professional liability, products liability and construction defect matters. A seasoned trial lawyer with over 75 jury trials to his credit, Bill brings a wealth of experience to the courtroom. He has represented numerous physicians, hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living and extended care facilities throughout South Florida against complex medical malpractice claims. His keen understanding of the intricacies of healthcare regulations and procedures allows him to successfully navigate clients through challenging litigation, ensuring their interests are protected. In addition to his medical experience, Bill is also a trusted advisor for developers, general contractors, sub-contractors and design professionals for both residential and commercial properties. He has handled a number of multi-million-dollar construction disputes, from structural defects to design flaws. He is also experienced in the defense of product liability matters, involving products such as Victaulic ductile iron and CPVC pipes, couplings, fittings and sprinklers, Asplundh lifts and chippers, Raleigh bikes and flammable colognes; additionally, he has represented lawyers and other professionals in professional liability and malpractice claims. Bill’s extensive legal knowledge and experience makes him a versatile lawyer who is confident in many different areas of practice. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Florida, and that background serves him well in the evaluation of damages, future care, and costs of litigation.
