Wicker Smith Partner Presents Emerging Risks for Employers Post Covid-19 at the 2021 FSASC Annual Conference & Trade Show
ORLANDO – JULY 21, 2021 – Wicker Smith O’Hara McCoy & Ford, P.A. Jacksonville and Brunswick Partner, E. Holland “Holly” Howanitz, spoke at the Florida Society of Ambulatory Surgical Centers (FSASC) Annual Conference and Trade Show on the topic of emerging risks for employers post COVID-19. The session titled “New Risks and Trends in the Workplace Post COVID-19: Best Practice for Navigating the ‘New Normal’” was held on Friday, July 16th and discussed relating employer and employee rights regarding verification of vaccination, employee policies, COVID-19 testing and sanitation protocols including employee violations. Ms. Howanitz also touched on risk management concerns in the event of employee non-compliance with newly identified pandemic related policies.
the Florida Society of Ambulatory Surgical Centers (FSASC) is an organization focused on the advancement of the ambulatory surgical center industry through legislative and regulatory advocacy.
