Wicker Smith Ranked Top 20 in NLJ 500 Women in Law Scorecard 2021 for Second Consecutive Year
MIAMI – JULY 13, 2021 – The National Law Journal has ranked civil litigation defense firm, Wicker Smith O’Hara McCoy & Ford P.A., in top 20 for the second consecutive year of the 2021 NLJ 500 Women in Law Scorecard, a list ranking the country’s largest law firms on how many female lawyers are employed firm-wide. The firm ranked number 19 this year out of 350 law firms.
Wicker Smith is committed to the progression and preservation of female attorney careers within the firm. Upon submission, the firm recorded 42% of attorneys comprise of females, however, it expects to see more than 50% of all attorneys to include females before the end of the calendar year. Its women lawyers hold high leadership positions including managing partner and head of practice groups.
The Women’s Scorecard is produced as part of the annual NLJ 500 firm head count report. Data on gender diversity at firms is collected at the same time as when firms report financial numbers and head counts to ALM. Only the largest 350 firms are eligible for the Women’s Scorecard.
