The Jacksonville Office of Wicker Smith is looking for an experienced Case Manager.
Summary: Responsible for performing a variety of administrative duties.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES
- Management, distribution, and profiling of items received in office pleading repository.
- Assist firm management as requested.
- Department mail distribution.
- Typing, scanning, and organizing documents.
- Supporting manager for all administrative duties including copying, typing, faxing, telephone coverage, making travel arrangements, deliveries, etc.
- Completing conflict checks as needed.
- Completing miscellaneous projects and backing-up other positions as requested.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND LICENSURE
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required, preferably some college.
- Skills/Abilities: Excellent typing skills; Ability to produce accurate work product in a timely manner and work in a team environment.
- Ability to use computer, copy/scanner, fax machine, telephone, and other office equipment.
- Knowledge of legal procedures, terminology, and processes is preferred.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION
- Speaking: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Hearing: Ability to hear average or normal conversations.
- Finger Dexterity: Ability to type and pick-up small objects and dial the telephone.
- Repetitive Motions: Movements regularly require using the arms, wrists, hands, and or/fingers.
- Visual Abilities: Ability to inspect documents and operate office machinery.
- Physical Abilities & Strength: Sitting most of the time. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Walking when necessary to retrieve supplies, faxes, mail, etc. Some bending and squatting. Lifting of files and boxes.
